Young Life Mentor Programme

There are many reasons from A-Z why young people may need
help or support at some point in their life.
​

School avoidance
-
Appearing withdrawn
-
Troubles eating or sleeping
-
Troubled but not sure why
-
Not feeling or behaving 'normally'
-
Overly sensitive or emotional
-
Feeling isolated or lonely
​
These are just a few ways in which a young person may demonstrate their need for some help.
​
Of course for each issue there is an equal and opposite outcome.
Here are some examples of how a young person can feel after completing individual sessions and programmes.

I have created a flexible programme that;
​
-
Provides a welcome environment that is safe, respectful and supportive
-
Recognises an individuals starting point.
-
Identifies personal strengths as well as limiting thoughts and behaviours .
-
Clarifies targets to work towards.
-
Implements fun and interactive strategies to reach targets that will continue to add benefit beyond the programme.
-
Reviews and shares progress to support future development.
​
Programmes can be flexible but the standard packages are 8 or 10 week courses. The main difference being the location of the client, the 10 week package allows for 2 'activity sessions' in person such as walking, bowling, disc golf etc.
One off sessions are also available which would allow for some sign posting but the longer options allow for new techniques to be practiced and embedded.
Sessions can be online or in person depending on location and preference.
